THE HOLY SPIRIT - TRINITY OF GOD
The Holy Spirit was given to us from Jesus Christ to convict our hearts when
we attempt to venture into sin and to empower Christians in their witness. We believe regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential
for personal salvation. 1. We believe the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4
is given to believers who ask for it. 2. We believe in the sactifying power of the Holy Spirit, by Whose
indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world. 3. We believe the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is the third person of
the Trinity, proceeds from the Father and the Son, is of the same substance, equal in power and glory. (Matthew 28:19) 4. We believe the Holy Spirit is, together with the Father and the
Son, to be believed in, obeyed, and worshiped. 5. We believe the Holy Ghost is a gift bestowed upon the believer for the purpose of equipping
and empowering him, making him a more effective witness for service in the world. (Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16, John 1:33) 6. We believe the Holy Spirit teaches and guides us in all truth.
